Jim Brewer - Lead Pastor

Brewer Family Bio

Jim is a native Oklahoman from a small community near Tulsa called Berryhill. He became a follower of Jesus in high school and was called to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ during his senior year. He attended OBU in Shawnee, where he met Cynthia. They were married on July 13, 1996. Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family Psychology from OBU and has extensive experience in social work. Jim has a Bachelor's degree from OBU, and both a Masters of Divinity and PhD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served several churches in Oklahoma and Texas in different capacities. The Brewers have two beautiful little girls: Emma, who is 9 years old and Sophia, who is 5. Cynthia enjoys reading, decorating, crafts and nearly anything artistic. Jim loves almost anything sports-related, especially Sooner football (sorry OSU fans). Emma and Sophia enjoy singing, dancing and caring for their little herd of pygmy goats and other pets.
